We were photographing Atlantic Puffins bathing on calm water at Île aux Perroquets when every bird suddenly scattered. Seconds later, a Bald Eagle came sweeping in low — a perfect example of why wildlife photographers should always be ready for the extraordinary while photographing the ordinary.
